Measuring heartbeat and respiratory vibrations through the mattress, the Bed Assist bed sensor is able to detect a resident's presence with total accuracy.
The system remains on 24/7, detecting a resident whenever they lie down. The system will not false alarm whilst changing sheets, or if an object is placed on the bed.
A power-audit light can also be used during incident reporting to find out if the sensor was switched off or unplugged.

Our bed sensors install under the mattress, so they cannot be seen, heard, or felt by residents or visitors.
There is also no 'plastic crinkle' as the sensor is solid and installs under the mattress.
There are no unsightly floor pads or wires running across the floor to trip on.

Bed Assist installs under the mattress with ease and is easy to move from bed to bed. Once installed, the bed sensor remains on 24/7. Simply put your resident to bed and the Bed Assist system will automatically run checks on the resident every five seconds. Should your resident exit the bed from either side the sensor will alert staff by paging the existing nurse call system.
This complete automation process eliminates set up problems and human error, whilst providing the highest level of protection for residents within your care. The audit light ensures management can see that the sensors have been in continuous use.
